Don’t be fooled by their laid-back look – both Craig Scholten and Yishi Zhou are qualified Chefs with decades of serious industry experience between them. Partners in life and business, they share a love of Asian fusion food, fresh ingredients, adventurous flavours and CC’s signature dumplings.

In 2017, CC and Craig joined forces to develop the Bite Me food truck, better described as a pop-up restaurant. Their first outing was a sellout success and they have been tantalising the tastebuds of the public with their Signature Burgers and Dumplings at markets and events around Auckland ever since.
C&C Kitchen represents a return to Craig’s classic fine dining roots: bespoke wedding catering with 5-star quality dishes and service – without the expensive restaurant setting.

CC and Craig love to nurture and support their client’s vision for the event and do all they can to look after the guests on the day. Craig will happily work with his clients to adapt the dishes for allergies, tastes, styles or budgets. However, he’s a perfectionist for taste and will not compromise on quality. That’s what his clients love about him.

Suffice to say, whatever the event, Craig and CC bring their A-game level professionalism, enthusiasm and skills. Whether it’s a rustic country wedding or formal 50th for 500, C&C Kitchen will provide a dining experience that guests will reminisce about for years.
